2023 LENT FASTING PRAYER GUIDE
Wednesday, February 22 to Sunday, April 9
MONDAYS: Pray for Government and Those in Authority
I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone-for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. 1 Timothy 2:1-2
TUESDAYS: Pray for Revival
ask the Lord to move powerfully in our church, in our city, in our country and in the world
pray specifically for the ministries of Living Word (see below)
WEDNESDAYS: Pray for the Body of Christ
pray for a genuine unity within the Church of Jesus Christ
pray for the Lord to sustain His people in His love and in His grace
pray specifically for our missionaries and ministry partners (see below)
THURSDAYS: Pray for Issues of Life: Violence, Murder, Crime, Abortion
The LORD God formed the man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being. Genesis 2:7
And He is not served by human hands, as if He needed anything, because He Himself gives everyone life and breath and everything else. Acts 17:25
FRIDAYS: Pray for Issues Related to Sexual Morality and Gender Identity
So God created humankind in His own image, in the image of God He created them, male and female He created them. Genesis 1:27
Marriage should be honored by all, and the marriage bed kept pure, for God will judge the adulterer and all the sexually immoral. Hebrews 13:4
SATURDAYS: Pray for the Youth, Children and Education System
The city streets will be filled with boys and girls playing there. Zechariah 8:5
